The Collective has met regularly since April 2023 and welcomes new members. If you are interested in being involved, joining the Google Group is the best place to start. Members receive notifications about meetings, events, and other activities.
Disability History and Culture Collective (DHACC) has two Google Groups for disability-related conversations: DHACC Disability Museum, focused on museums, exhibits, and collections (formal, informal, or in progress), and Disability Advocates – Lead On, for general disability community discussions, events, resources, and current issues.
You may choose one or both, depending on your interests. Information on how to join can be found at: https://bit.ly/DHACC-GoogleGroups
DHACC's work is community-driven. We are building out working groups and volunteer roles in areas including accessibility, equity, communications, and archives.
